How the calculator works
Each payment is first converted to a yearly amount: the price times the number of payments per year. The monthly cost is the yearly total divided by twelve. That way weekly, quarterly and yearly payments add up correctly with monthly plans.

The five-year figure is the yearly total times five. It assumes unchanged prices and the same subscriptions, so it shows the order of magnitude, not an exact budget.
Example
Four monthly subscriptions: Netflix €13.99, Spotify €10.99, ChatGPT Plus €22.99 and iCloud+ €2.99. Together that’s €50.96 a month, €611.52 a year and €3,057.60 over five years. The amounts are examples — “Use example” puts them into the calculator.
Where to find the right amounts
The most accurate amounts are on your bank or card statement and in payment confirmations, because they include your plan, discounts and taxes. Check the subscription list in the App Store or Google Play and renewal emails too: they usually show the date of the next payment.
Frequently asked questions.
Does the calculator store my data?
The list is kept only in this browser’s storage, so it doesn’t disappear when you reload. Nothing is sent to our servers. “Clear” removes it straight away.
How do I enter a yearly subscription?
Enter the full yearly amount and choose “every year”. The calculator converts it to a monthly figure itself.
What about free trials and offers?
Enter the price that applies after the trial or the offer. A free month doesn’t change the payments that follow.
Does the result include price rises?
No. The calculator uses the amounts you enter. When a provider changes its price, update the amount.
